The love of the Prussian king Frederick II was well known, called the great, to his greyhounds. Even today, visiting the park of the Sans Souci castle in Potsdam you can see the graves of these dogs and hear historical anecdotes, how this tough warrior mourned the loss of each of his canine favorites.
