Assessment and rewarding dogs at shows:
1. The judges of individual breeds are made by judges alone on the runway (by classes).
2. The assessment is made comparatively, taking into account important individual characteristics.
3. The dog can be classified as perfect, very good, good or satisfactory.
Adult specimens can get the excellent mark, fully formed, in exemplary condition and as close as possible to the breed standard. Such dogs must have a harmonious body structure and give a very good overall impression, not showing any significant disadvantages.
Very good grade is given to specimens close to perfect, but showing slight and non-inheritable drawbacks.
The specimens receive a good mark, which basically correspond to the breed standard, but they show some habit defects that can be eliminated in the offspring by an appropriately selected partner. When using such dogs for breeding, the breeding committee should be consulted regarding the mate selection.
The specimens receive a satisfactory rating, which basically follow the breed standard, but they have considerable flaws and are therefore of little hope, that they will be able to produce good offspring. In principle, they should be eliminated from breeding, especially the dogs, and the use of a bitch for breeding is allowed only in exceptional cases, like for example. there are no bitches of this breed in the country, and only after obtaining the consent of the breeding commission for the selection of a stud dog.
Dogs showing disqualifying faults are not assessed, especially neuters, canyons and these, which do not match the breed standard, as well as overly nervous or aggressive individuals, or behaving inappropriately in the ring.
Psy, which were rated excellent or very good, rank the judge in order, giving them positions from first to fourth place. If no dog got a better grade than a good one, it only chooses the best one. Besides, all other dogs do not receive any deposits, only grades.
Each class may be awarded 3 medals for the first three exhibits: dogs with an excellent mark receive a gold medal, with a very good grade - silver medal. Females with a good mark - brown (Only one bronze medal may be awarded in a given class). Dogs with a good mark cannot be awarded a medal.
At national and international shows, judges may be in the winning class, open and working class should be awarded to the first dog with an excellent mark - if it is entered in the PKR or other foreign pedigree book and is distinguished by its beauty and has finished 15 months - certificate for the show champion CWC (abroad: CAC = championship certificate). For getting CWC three times from different judges, the dog automatically receives the title of national champion awarded by the Main Board of the Kennel Club..
The title of winner of a given breed is given by comparing the first excellent in the winner class with the first excellent in the open class and the first excellent in the utility class.. In exceptional cases, when the dog stands out in every respect and obtained the CWC certificate, the judge - also in the absence of a competitor from another class - may award the title of the winner.
The title of the Junior Winner of a given show is awarded to a dog in the Junior Class, if he got the first place with an excellent mark in competition at least 5 dogs in the classroom. If the dog is exceptionally beautiful and scored excellent, the judge may, at his discretion, also without participation 5 competitors award him the title of youth winner.
A dog distinguished by overall beauty can get CACIB with first place at an international show, regardless of the number of competitors with an excellent mark. The certificate is issued to only one dog (relatively bitch) in a given race, comparing the first excellent from the open classes, winners and usable. The judge can award the first CACIB certificate. Then he compares the second excellent dog in this class, from which the winner comes and comparing such a new stake, may award a certificate for a reserve CACIB. It matters so much, that if the application for the first winner is not approved or he has already won the title of international champion, the dog obtaining the reserve certificate takes its place and receives the CACIB.
